The course will develop the participant’s knowledge on “Permit to Work” procedure and its implementation. After completion of course, the participant will be able to recognize hazards and control measures associated with Hot works, Cold works, Confined Space Entry and Electrical works. The course describes the responsibilities and permit issuer and receivers.
In industries some jobs are highly hazardous and needed thorough understanding of hazards associated and control measure for example performing hot works in confined space or in old abandoned manholes, working on energized/pressurized lines etc. An work permit procedure needed to control the risks for such hazardous jobs. This course will provide the tools for effective implementation and understanding of permit to work procedure and applications.
