//How to prepare for NEBOSH IGC and qualify it easily?

Most of new learners who don’t have previous experience of occupational safety and health, are hesitant to appear in NEBOSH exams. To them, its difficult to qualify in one attempt.

So, here we are going to tell you 5 easy tips to clear NEBOSH IGC in one attempt:

  1. Check your English comprehension level

Most of the learners fail not just because of lack of knowledge but due to poor English writing skills and grammatical errors. For NEBOSH IGC exam, you must be min. IELTS 6.0 or higher. NEBOSH recommends that learners undertaking this qualification should reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests.

  1. Choose your learning partner

This is very important choose the correct learning partner or course provider. There may be many factors to be considered for selection of learning partner but the most important is quality of training delivered by learning partner. Other factors you should consider are:

Mode of study: You should choose the most effective method for yourself e.g. Face to Face, E-learning, Part time/Evening classes etc.

Quality of study materials: The study materials provided by learning partner shall be updated and covering all assessment criteria. The learners must enquire about course materials quality.

Knowledge, competence of Tutor: You should make sure that only NEBOSH approved trainers teach you during your study. Tutors need to create an innovative learning experience using a range of methods and technology. They must engage with learners to make the learning process effective and enjoyable.

Cost – Each Learning Partner sets their own fees to reflect the service offered. To get best price that suits your budget, you should contact a number of Learning Partners to establish what their fees are and what is included in the fee.

  1. Thorough practice of sample/similar question papers

Its not just sufficient to complete the syllabus but to practice the similar questions asked by NEBOSH in exam. After covering the formal syllabus, you should go through the sample or mock tests diligently to improve and cross check your subject knowledge and writing skills.

  1. Choose your exam centre carefully for NEBOSH IGC
